The Infinity Dream Tag

I know!  I just did a tag!  But here goes another one! =)
I was tagged by the beautiful Hannah for the Infinity Dream Tag!!  Thank you! =)  This looks like a fun post!
1. Thank the blogger who tagged you.
2. Tell us 11 facts about yourself.
3. Answer the 11 questions given to you.
4. Tag 11 bloggers and give them 11 new questions to answer.
My 11 Random Facts:

1. I published my first novella  ( probably already knew that)

2. I am learning ASL and LOVE it!  (ASL stands for American Sign Language)

3. I am gluten intolerant...thus I have to eat food without wheat and barley.  (it's not as bad as you might think...especially when my mom is the best cook in the whole world!)

4. I enjoy English, History, and Piano

5. I love thunderstorms

6. I love sending letters to people!  (Snail mail is the best!)  When our newspaper has "card showers" to older folks who are having birthdays, I love sending them a special birthday card. =)

7. I am not very good at coming up with random facts...**hastily tries to think of 4 others...**

8. I love being a Beta reader for new authors!!!

9. I am VERY picky about which blogs I follow...I don't like to bog down my email account, so I only pick my favorite blogs to follow. =)  If I follow your blog, then know that I really, really like it!

10. I love spring where I live.  The flowers are gorgeous, butterflies abundant, temperature perfect, and rain constant!

11. I live on a farm...thus we have almost every sort of farm animal.  Sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, dogs, cats, a cow, a horse, and others!

I did it!  Here are Hannah's questions for me!!!

1. What is your favorite blog?
My ONE favorite blog?!  Eek...I like so many!  One of my favorites is The Left-Handed Typist. =)

2. What is the biggest thing you've learned from blogging?
Probably not to compare yourself to can be pretty hard in the blogging world not to look at other blogs and wish you had their followers or their header.  LOL.  Being content with what you have can be hard sometimes. =)

3. How many siblings do you have?
     I have 8 siblings!!!

4. Favorite author?
My favorite author(s) include:  Janette Oke, Jaye L. Knight, C.S. Lewis and others. =)

5. What is a movie that has greatly impacted you?
This is actually a hard question because lots of movies are fun to watch but aren't really impacting.  But one that has impacted me is "War Room!"  It made me want to pray more and see the importance of prayer!

6. What is a book that has greatly impacted you? (other than the Bible!:)
One book that impacted me was A Young Woman After God's Own Heart.  It had so many helpful tips and advice on how to grow in my Christian walk!  EVERY SINGLE young woman needs to read it!

7. What is one of your most prized possessions?
One of my most prized possessions is an envelope that contains every single letter that I've received from my Compassion child in Ecuador.  I love her sooooo much!!!  She's one of my best friends and like a sister to me.
8. What is one of your best memories?
When I saw my baby sister born!  It was the first time I saw a baby come into the world. (haha...I've seen cows, goats, sheep and other farm animals) =P And she's the sweetest thing ever!

9. Your best writing advice?
Don't be lazy...and start writing!  LOL  (that comes from me, the person who was going to write a chapter of my novel until I saw this tag and had to get it done.)  Ha.

10. What is the title of a book your currently working on?(tell a little about it)
I am working on The Emblem of Hope.  It's a historical fiction book based on Jamestown.  (back then it was known as James Fort)  I am writing from the perspective of two main characters.  One is an English girl named Maddie who leaves her beloved home to journey across the dangerous Atlantic Ocean.  The second is a beautiful Native American girl named Pocahontas who loses her loving father figure and feels very alone.

11. What is your favorite Bible character other than Jesus? :)
Esther!!!  She was such a beautiful example of a woman who risks everything to honor God!  I desire to have her courage and love for God in my own life!!!!

I'll let you tag yourself, dear readers, because I just tagged some of you for my villain post. =)  If you want to do it, comment below and let me know please!!

  1. Cool to see those random facts! Snail-mail is great! Only were I live it's been getting slowly more and more expensive to send letters. (Doesn't stop me though) :)

    1. LOL! I'm glad you enjoyed the post, Jane! =) Snail-mail is really fun...and worth the stamps. ;) It's also so much more personal than an email!! (Though email is great in its own ways!)

      Thanks for commenting! =)

  2. This was such a fun post, Hosanna! We are quite alike in the fact that we love beta reading :D. Ooo, you have a horse on your farm? *is very much jealous*
Katie Grace is one of the bloggers that has inspired me, she's so good at what she does!
Also, (even if my blog is private), I'm going to go ahead and nab this tag, I can't help it :D.

    1. Oh, I'm glad that you are going to do this's one of the most fun ones. ;)

Haha...don't be jealous. =) Living on a farm has lots of work though it is very enjoyable! And it's always extra cool to give visitors tours. ;)

YES! Katie Grace has inspired me too. I love the creative way that she expresses herself on her blog and in her novel!!

      Thanks for commenting, Savannah!!

  3. What a fun tag! =)

    1. Thank you, Emily! I thought so as well! =)

  4. This was great, Hosanna. Aw, I can't believe I made your favorite blog list *sniff* You're so sweet! :D

Can I just say yes to English, History, Piano, thunderstorms, and snail-mail! *high five* I also know how that gluten-free life goes because my mom and brother have to do it and I do it loosely.

I may have to do this tag because your questions are just SO good. So, yes, I enjoy reading these types of posts. :) Katie Grace (A Writer's Faith) and Anne Marie (AM Station) inspire me every time I read one of their posts.

    1. Yes, your blog is one of my favorites. =)

LOLOL! We have a lot in common it seems? ;) And you being GF is another "coincidence." =) It's not very fun *grin*, but we've been at it for five years...and it's made a big difference for me. Aaaand...we now have the best recipes, which helps a TON. =)

Oh, I hope you can do the tag!! =) I love Katie's blog as well...but I don't think I've checked out Anne's. Can you send me the link, please?

      Thank you for commenting, Abi!!!

  5. Aw, thank you for doing this tag Hosanna!! It's so fun to find out how much in common I have with the other bloggers.(and we're pretty similar:) Tags are awesome!! **high fives** I have another one waiting that I'll have to do sometime...:)

  6. I would like to do this!

    1. Go ahead, Anika! You are officially tagged! =) I hope you can do it!

  7. Yes, we do have some things in common! It was interesting to read your answers. :) I eat gluten-free, I think snail-mail is the best, and I only follow blogs that I can be sure I'll want to read every post too. :)

The book you're working sounds good! Historical fiction is one of my favourite genres. :)

Also, I just noticed that my blog is on your 'Blogs I read' page! I feel honoured and humbled, especially given what you said above about blogs you follow, so thank you. :)

    1. How cool that we have a lot in common! =) Yes, I really don't like clogging my email folder up...I would rather follow fewer and better blogs. =) And YES, your blog is one of my favorites, even though I just started following it recently! =)

Thank you! I hope you will be able to read it in the future, or even be a Beta reader one day!! It is a lot of fun writing historical fiction and a lot of work. =) But it is so cool how sometimes God throws out another piece of information from the time period that really changes the whole aspect of my novel. LOL
