I also have a journal where I write and list the things I'm thankful for. =) Recounting each day makes me realize all the blessings...which I usually miss. Sometimes I have a hard day, but then I realize that it actually had beauty - I just didn't pay attention. Have you read One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp? That's what spurred me on to start counting the blessings in life. =)

He's always good. Even in the busyness. Even in the confusion. Even in the hard times. He is good. And it's encouraging that you always try to have joy, even when it's hard. I'm there with you, girl! It's hard. But God's strong.

Sorry for not responding here sooner. I appreciate how you always point back to Jesus. It's a blessing getting to know you better, Sarah. =)Hosanna Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12326767494489236766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8642116212694770214.post-2542540652106606722017-10-25T19:26:44.662-05:002017-10-25T19:26:44.662-05:00Yes!! But with Christ all things are possible, including rejoicing! So keep pressing on, my friend, because He never gives up on us. ♥Hosanna Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12326767494489236766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8642116212694770214.post-42605161698261996942017-10-13T11:46:00.696-05:002017-10-13T11:46:00.696-05:00Very true! One thing I always try to remember is that no matter what God is good. He will always remain so. He loves us so much. I'm very blessed: blessed with food, loving family, wonderful church family, roof over my head... the list goes on. I keep a small journal where I list things I'm thankful for, it comes in handy... especially if I feel discouraged I can just go and read some. I have a shirt that across it says BLESSED, that I am. That we are. How can we not rejoice when we serve such a loving God? Just look into His Word and we get glimpses of Him and His character. It's also good to have people in your life to encourage you in the Lord. I try to always have joy, even when it's hard... which is tough to do. Thanks for the reminder :)Sarah Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15830253815748803857noreply@blogger.com
